Hello there fashiony friends.  Guess what?  I am shutting down Scarlet B. Designs in a short bit.  As some of you already know, I travel and write about my adventures for a really great magazine.  Every month.  I love it so much, words are hard to apply to the immense love I have for travel writing.    LOVE IT!  ALOT.  So in an effort to streamline and keep on keeping on, I started a new website called Happily Travelling-how apropro.  I will fold fashion into the mix because, well, I love fashion and pay attention to it while journeying about.  That textile element will be hanging around for a long long time I suspect.  Also, I will be posting lot's of photos that I take along the way.  Shutter.

Million Dollar Milly!

I futzed around the runway shows last night and about peed myself when I bore witness to Milly's magical creations!  Talk about a second coming.  I mean, seriously with the beanie's and the floaty groovey sexy bohemian nonstop cuteness!  Checky check it out:

 

Yes!  Great soft purple shorts, diggin the tassle necklaces, great color combo.  Check out the models legs headed back to whence she came.  Lunges ladies, keep doing those lunges!

 

Look out sexy beach here I come.  Dang, I wish I would've had this ensemble when I was recently in the Riviera Maya.  It's all delicate and whimsical yet hot at the same time!  The belt is fantastic.

 

Again we have the see sheer jamboree!  What a fucking awesome color...and I see she is paired with my favorite accessory, the melt in your heart messenger bag.

 

Um, can we get any cuter here people?  Where can I find a belt like that?  Oh, I know the interior decorating store in the curtain/drape section, hey whatever works divas, whatever works.  Look at the applique!  And the sunglasses...and the warm chocolate-y goodness.  Neckline, perfect.  Ruffle-y hem, divine.

I can't take it anymore.  I need to go rummage through my closet and come up with something a la Milly.  I have buttery leather belts, flowy dresses, beanies, messenger bags...Today is gonna be a good fun fashion day.  Off to work lovebugs!

Anna, my love!

I am here!  My life has been a whirly whirlwind the last couple o months.  The travel writing portion of my juicy life is bumpin and and jumpin like crazy and I LOVE IT!  I am going to be folding Scarlet B Designs into a new site I am launching called "Happily Travelling-life, travel and the pursuit of happiness"  I will still talk about style and funk and all things deliriously cute along with my travels and such.  I hope you will come along for the rip roaring ride.  I am forcasting 2-4 weeks out for the change to take place.

Welly Well Welll....tick tock

You may be wondering where in the hell I have been and why I haven't been posting lately.  Well!  TypePad has been on the fritz and after spending a few hours trying to figure out the deal-e-oh I finally gave up and said "fuck it".  I sent help requests blahdee blah blah and nothing happened.  Today, I decided to give it a shot to see if the bugs were fixed and so far so good.

My dear friend Tina Steinberg (I call her Burrita) is a fantastically talented jewelry designer.  I always love a good synchronistic/meant to be story and hers is just that.  While on a sabbatical from her 'day job' the sweet and saucy design muses came calling and Tina allowed them in. 

Her success comes from lots of hard work, lots of play, lots of hunting around for funky fresh components and such and lots of good vibes.

When she showed me this here bird necklace a few weeks ago I bum-rushed and tackeled Tina wrenching it out of her hands.  GIMME!  I have worn it almost every day since it came home to roost in my home.  The pendent is pretty big which I like and makes any outfit I wear more interesting.  Bird Bling.
